Partnership

In the book of foundations or building blocks that is the book of Genesis 1:26
"God said Let us make man in our image and let them have dominion according to our likeness... So God created man in his image; in his own image created he them"

Right from the onset we see God in partnership creating a partnership of male and female and giving them the five-fold mandate for their purpose on earth that is

a) to have dominion over everything on the earth
b) to be fruitful and multiply
c) fill the earth and subdue it
d) have dominion over everything
e) to be fully provided for all needs

God the father, God the son and God the Holy Spirit had a partnership meeting were they decided to embark on a very serious and divinely significant project. The triune partnership of God agreed together to make man in their three fold format of spirit soul and body. So we see that right from the onset God used divine partnership to make the world and the first man. Without partnership the effort of reaching mankind, preaching to mankind and re-shaping manking becomes virtually impossible.

In Ecclessiastics the word of God says:

Ecclessiastics 4:9 Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labor.
Ecclessiastics 4:10 For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.
Ecclessiastics 4:12 And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

The word of God tells us that partnership is better than a lone-ranger effort because there is a good reward for the effort put in. The Message Bible puts it a way that can be understood by all when it says

Ecclessiastics 4:9 It's better to have a partner than go it alone. Share the work, share the wealth.

One can put a thousand to flight but two can put ten thousand to flight. There is a ten-fold anointing on partnership than on individual effort. That is why Jesus sent His disciples out two by two

Luke 10:1 After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place whither he himself would come.

Luke 10:17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us2254 through thy name.

As visionaries of Word Of Life International we have a dream but that dream will not live without a team. Thank God we have the pastoral and leadership teams that together with their congregations are making the vision of Word Of Life a reality in every community.
